This week 3DS had a new game, Senran Kagura, and it's full of fan-service...that's the explanation for this week's boost, last week it was probably due to MH.

Senran Kagura is a system seller? Didn't know that, I doubt this alone would of increase the sales by >20%. Well to be on the safe side, I'd say it be a combination of this game and the MH announcements.
