I am pulling for the Rays and the Braves.

The Rays because I love cheering for underdogs and am sick of seeing the Red Sox in the playoffs because they spend 999 bajillion dollars a year.

The Braves because I am a Cubs fan and can't stand the Cardinals.

Since you are a Cubs fan, are you happily surprised with Starlin Castro's big year?

I am happy, but not that surprised.   The guy hit everything in sight in his stint up last year and he just did the same thing over an entire season.

He's a good one and let's hope the Cubs don't let him go when he asks for money.

Well the white sox have fallen apart, you right lets hope the cubs think wisely!

In other news this wild card race has really come down to the wire! Atlanta is fighting a hard team and st.louis an easy one so who knows what will happen there. And the same can go for Boston and Tampa it seems. Not sure who they play next though, may still be the same teams still.

The funny thing is that Ozzie Gullien couldn't run from the White Sox to the Marlins quickly enough.  He lives in Florida during the offseason after all.  This will probably save him some money.

Both leagues have a tie for the wild card and are all in their final series.  This means that the teams that they are playing now will be the teams that they play until the end.  Who knows?  Maybe we'll have a one game playoff for both spots.  It could happen.
