I have to say this is a insanely stupid question.. That is beyound a good deal.

OP Xxplain why that would not be a good deal?

Well I just thought it might not be worth it since there are no real good games out right now and the redesign is probably coming soon.

I am sure there is going to be a new iteration of the 3DS; but whether it will be a massive redesign or cosmetic one will depend on sales up to March 2012.  If the 3DS continue to sell well (which since the price cut has been the market leader and seems headed for that direction) the redesign might be a minor or even cosmetic one.  I don't see Nintendo splitting the market and taking further loss on hardware by offering dual analogs if the system sells 12-14 mil units by the end of the fiscal year.  It would be foolish (though Nintendo has been foolish before) and costly to redisgn the 3DS and split their market regardless of what anyone says.  Also, I don't see the redesign coming sooner than Fall 2012 so that would be quite a wait.  I hope one thing Nintendo does change or offer is a better battery pak to increase the 3DS playtime.  Nyko offers one and I'm sure Nintendo is fully capable also.
