I'm pretty sure it was 5400rpm! I had it in my Fat Ps3 for well over a year with no problems.


Then Yeah I'd say it was a faulty system bro, sorry, see if you can take it back to the store and show them what its doing. Maybe they can help or better yet replace it.


Thanks for the help, appreciate it! I just switched my Ps3 on again & it says my hdd is corrupted, so it's re-building it at the minute. Will see if this makes any differnce, if not I will return it & get a new one.
