And yes, the PS1 and PS2 did become the dominant console in America, but not with some resistance by the press, people, and media. It does have alot to do with the history of why Americans are generally more forgiving toward MS and less forgiving toward Sony. In Europe / Japan, it's the opposite situation. Outside the US, Sony products (laptops, etc.) are more popular. |
I'm going to say your full of it... as I don't know anyone who remembers anything like that. My dad is like the major "buy USA" guy too... since he works for an auto company.
