That is such an ignorant question. I have a lot of friends who don't have one. Some because it distracts them from college work, others don't have the time and others who just don't like it. Facebook =/= social life. You have text messaging, phone calls, e-mail and many other things that can also work as a form of communication with friends and to promote a social life.
Hell, I think some people in Facebook just use it to pretend they have a social life.
