I'd still call that still an enhanced port. Just a better one than the other ps2 games. Remake for me is with all new assets.
I'd say this fits the same category of the evangelion anime ---> new movies.
Though the FMV's, I'd think would have to be re-rendered. Because they were initially done in fullscreen.
I hope they redo the VA's too with the same voice actors. Because imo, the voice acting was a lot better in X-2, just it was sillier.
