IDK. DQ sold well on a PS system although SE release a ton of DQ spin-offs on Nintendo system so I somewhat agree. 
OT: I totally expected the drop of Xillia but it will climb up on 800K-900K LTD with the budget release. Nice hold for the PS3 next week will be interesting if it can maintain those sales. As for 3DS awesome sales will explode on the holidays with big launches.
