Agreed. That kind of quote can't even be taken 'out of context' like they usually claim.


 I'm not saying that it wasn't a horrible thing to say. All I'm saying is that people make mistakes. We all do. We have all said insensitive things before in our lives. Maybe not racially insensitive, maybe not gender insensitive, maybe not orientation insensitive, but insensitive. Just from the gamers I hear every day yell "GAY" whenever they die online, I know that this problem is more common than we think.

I cannot support firing somebody unless the comment is truly indicative of evilness. IMO, Imus' comments qualify for a firing, this one did not. Just my opinion.
