you make it sound like it's easy to have a big hit coming out of nowhere. no you made it shound that way. and as far as DOA and FF go. those were games that saved to companies from going under and thats the only reason i referenced them as killer apps. its not easy getting this so called killer app/system seller you speak of. 

i'll say it again. having system sellers is not key to Vitas success(i'll change it from killer app's) but having ip that could become system sellers is. a system seller is hit or mis cause you'll never know wht game will do it.  

Also, having a system seller is definitely key to any system success. An IP could likely be killer APPS is good and might turn into a system seller. However, there is no guarantee all killer APPS will sell hardware. well tell me wht a system seller is. make sure its a game that you and i know about that hasn't released yet and it has to be a new ip.

This is also what confuses me when people keep saying COD with 3G will be huge. first, you have to have a stable 3G connection. Even then, I don't understand why it would be so urgent to play COD online on the go like in a coffee shop or McDonalds. So I have 20 min to kille and it's so better that I can jump into COD online now with Vita? the same reason people buy your so called killer app for home consoles cause they want to and that should be enough.

and as for the first. the greatest game ever made can fail making it not worth having so wht is a killer app/system seller other then a game that appeals to millions of people around the world?

i don't know wht your answer is but mine is that its an opnion. thats right sells are opinions ofhow good a game is, and not becuase its a killer appor system seller cause as mention'd before those kinds of games either come from no where or don't come at all. theres no such thing as a system seller/killer app cause its not something we can all agree on, but we can agree what a sertant game sold and nothing more. if any game was ever a system seller everyone that owns that console would buy it and more then double the people would buy the sequal. thats wht i call a system seller.

so whts a killer app? an opinion and millions of people have to have the same opinion about the same game for it to sell. theres no such thing as a system seller those are hit or miss ip that can do good or bad sells wise. its a killer app becuase you want it, meanning the reason you have to own that console.
