I got a memory error one day ... emailed about the problem and got a response within 24 hours. (Tried to move a channel and do something else at the same time, causes a bad reaction).
So I'd call Nintendo. Its customer service is top notch.
(I've also had the black screen problem once where I had to do a hard reset).
