In the PS2 version, you don't see the dot of your laser unless it's on something you can hit. For example, lets say you were playing an FPS where the crosshair only comes up when an enemy is at the center of the screen. Anyway, it's good because it tells you things you can hit so you don't waste your ammo for nothing. However, I've found it a little difficult to make some shots because I had no idea where the dot was until I eventually found it pop up on an enemy, but that wastes time trying to orient myself to where the dot is.
