Sure? If I remember the GAP was 8 million before slim and 4 million after Christmas.
Oct-Dec sales of 2009: 6,897,278 (PS3) > 4,979,188 (360)
I guess Sony will never repeat these sales over 360 in that period... Slim was a beast .

That must be what you are thinking about. And that was in '07, the same year MS came out with the 3 model/price startegy. They also dropped the price of their consoles not too long after Sony dropped the PS3's, the Arcade to $280, the Pro to $350, and the Elite to $450. So it's not hard to see why MS was able to start to widen the gap again. This year, it's going to take a little more to widen that gap.
