It is unnatural since the tv obviously stays in the same place. I would like to try it with a VR headset, that should work a lot better.
It's hard to describe, but if you've ever ridden a bicycle whith a loose seat that swivels, that's kinda the way it screws with you when turning corners.
It is even worse when the game automatically does it for you. I could not get used to taking corners in in car view in TDU2.
Hopefully you can also set it up to work with just changing your view point and disable rotation. Leaning left / right to check side mirrors, forward / back / sit up a bit straighter to peer over a hill all comes naturally while you're playing a racing game. That won't screw with your sense of direction.
