lets hope it does well cos so far with Z&W and MOHH2 with 32 player online both standing at around 150K WW really doesn't bode well for the Wii.

On the flip side at least Capcoms showing it can be done.

Actually it doesn't say as much about the Wii as it does about how stupid, lazy, and completely scared some 3rd parties are.

Zack & Wiki is a niche genre with no marketing, little hype, and could hardly get stocked in stores for what few people that wanted to buy it to actually be able to buy it. This isn't really too much of Capcom's fault when stores aren't stocking the game like they should be. Zack & Wiki isn't exactly the expensive type of game though, so it's pretty likely that Capcom has, or will, make their money's worth off of the game which kind of leaves you wondering what people in there right mind had expected it to sell 5+ million by now in the first place.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is a Wii port of a PSP game. It's actually quite sad that it took this long for a 32 player online FPS to pop up on the Wii (from EA no less), and even sadder that it had to be a port of a PSP game. I imagine the fact that it's not tearing up the Wii charts has something to do with it being another platform's (a handheld) leftovers. Then again, it didn't even have a fraction of the Wii's sales on the PSP, so it makes you wonder who was expecting it to sell millions when it couldn't even creep past 50k on its initial platform. If anything this is an EA success story, they got an FPS to sell better on Wii.

Totally agree that it's not the platforms point, unfortunately the publishers / devs wont agree and thats the shame as they'll see these games selling poorly and blame the Wii demographics as it's easier.  I really hope this year is the year that the Wii loses this lazy, cheap port image and if you're gonna port games over give us PC point and click games.
