Alright we all know one of the biggest faults with 3DS is it has no games targeting casual or female demographics. Sure Nintendogs is there but other then Nintendogs what else is there? Well a new RPG from Level-5 aims to target the female audience with what is now being called a killer app for girls. The games title is Cinderella life!
Of course the majority of us VGChartz users are male but I thought that this would be an interesting topic.
In the game you play a women who hosts a hostess Night club. By offering customers relaxation healing and happy time, the game will allow girls to host this club. With money earn t at the club the gamer gets to buy new clothing , accessories and furniture and things for their house. Girls will have the opportunity to take control of the club and the customization with clothing and such should make the experience way more feminine.
Of course the development team is largely female and Level-5 hopes that this product will draw in a lot of female gamers. Couple this with the new Pink Myst 3DS coming soon and it shows Nintendo is really dedicated to appealing to the female demographic.
So will this work? Will girls actually buy this game? What if Nintendo bundled it with the pink myst 3DS at launch to encourage female's to go pick it up. Of course no word yet on a western release but would the game be able to gather much attention here in the west if it were localized?
