1. 2012 is the official word, I'm guessing second half.
2. The Metro interface? That's the 'immersive' UI, that will be used for tablets and the like. The 'old' interface will also be there, and you can easily switch between the two, so no worries.
3. Maybe, but it will probably be more like what's coming out soon.
