Possibly, but better lighting technology is one of the more clear edges the 3DS has over the PSP, and the only edge it has over the Wii (that is to say the 3DS grafix package is inferior in all other aspects, but they do shaders and lighting techniques that the Wii, quite controversially, didn't support)
