The numbers are similar enough to say they are both reasonably accurate and we will hear financials at the end of the month. Ioi can wait until then to make adjustments. Software is a different story. Once again he got most of the titles right but the volume is off. We have to be patient the software predictions are still very immature with fewer reporting stores than the hardware. Hopefully now that the holidays are over the kinks can be worked out for 2008 |
Man, some of you don't even try to think things through. While npd doesn't get direct data from neither tru nor wal-mart, they DO estimate they sales. NPD estimates for the 100% of the market. If somehow your beloved brand (whatever it is) failed to accomplish, be sure everything was estimated for.
