Lifetime sales according to VGC:
Gears 2: 6.12m
Gears 1: 5.95m
OOT: 7.6m (N64)
Twilight Princess: 5.96m (wii) and 1.56m (GCN) = 7.52m total.
LoZ: 6.51m (NES)
Multiple other Zelda's between 4 and 5m... not including VC sales.
Additionally, this is the 25th anniversary game and will be marketed as much or greater than gears3... it'll have live music concerts for christ sake.
I think there is definitely arguments that this zelda will easily eclipse Gears3, lifetime, considering its on a 90m userbase and definitely a popular IP. First week will definitely go to gears... lifetime is arguable Zelda.
