Well I'm sure they killed off all future sales of the game once they announced Ultimate, coupled with the fact that you won't be able to buy the dlc with the original MvC3...It just wouldn't make sense to plop down money for the original game. At least with SSF4 you could get the DLC to make it the Arcade Edition, but with this nothing...
