It is late, and I am tired so I will keep this brief. I am not going to pick apart all your arguments tonight save the first one. No you cannot call the United States a Christian Nation. Firstly that is derogatory to all non Christian citizens. So you ought not do that out of simple decency. Secondly the United States government has made itself crystal clear about this terminology. No the United States is not a Christian nation.

@Rath

Weird though it may sound it is true. There are Atheist organizations for supporting their views, and they do indeed have leadership. Being a Atheist does not make one passive about their beliefs. At the time Ellen Johnson would probably have been a good candidate seeing as she was president of the American Atheists organization. What I personally find weird is the notion that you would bring religious leaders to ground zero in any official capacity in the first place.

To my way of thinking you can always kiss Gods ass on your own time rather then on my dime. Which is what our old friend Bush did with that stunt. It wasn't about the country it was about stroking his own damned ego. I wasn't too happy about his self absorption in asking the troops to pray for him either. What a fucking dick.

Anyway ask a silly question, and get a silly answer. Please learn to use a search engine in the future. This literally took me all of five seconds to find. Would it really have been that hard to do for yourself. I am nodding off now good night.
