Because sometimes they just read what other stupid people write and not the actual article (though sometimes articles are stupidly written as well like some of them here on VGC where they have no idea what they are talking about (at least what I have read of the Nintendo side of things))
stupidity and ignorance travels fast while the truth stays hidden even though it is right in front of peoples eyes ;)
