It's gonna release in the second half of '12 I'm guessing, and Microsoft will be giving support to W7 for a few years after that at least, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Thanks guys, by the looks of things, this blog is going to contain pretty much every piece of info released on Windows 8 in the foreseeable future, so this is probably going to be more or less the official thread anyway. I'll definitely be keeping it updated for BUILD when that rolls around.
