i take it you didn't watch gamescom and the Resistance burning skies demo. mostly (98%)all of Vitas games have differnet gameplay mechanics. PS3 and Vita will be one in the same for 30% of there games but the rest will differ so drasticly. take a look at M.U.G.E.N.S official vita thread or wait for some gameplay vid's.

long  thread short only time will tell.

I avoided most of gamescon because I don't want to know too much about my favorite games. Most of the features I know about the Vita are from E3, and in the demos they showed there, I don't feel too much was different.

Other then touch controls, what differentiates Vita from PS3? Social Networking, big whoop.

I agree with you most games will likely be different, but the difference between Sony handhelds and console games is much greater then Nintendo's IMO. PSP's biggest games are MGS, God of War, some Final Fantasy JRPG's, and well basically scaled down PS3 games. Daxter and Jeanne d'Arc are a couple of the unique PSP games.

Not trying to bring down Sony handhelds, but don't most people view PSP as PS2 Portable? How is PSV different from PS3 portable?

Not to sound like a fanboy, but with Nintendo, the 3DS isn't anything nearly like a Wii portable, and the DS is nothing like the Gamecube. Except for a few remakes and ports, Nintendo's handhelds are drastically different then console games.

This is why I suspected PSV to hurt PS3 sales, at least for Japan. I view the PSP as PS2 Portable (with some PS3 IP's), and PSV looks no different if you asked me.

And 3DS has only the 3D more then Wii and how 3D chance the way to play a game the touch screen yes but the 3D no.

If port have a better succes then unique game in PSVita is not the Sony problem, Sony make both port and new IP .

You say PSVita has only little deviants as a unique game who is not the same experience then PS3 you wrong do you really see all game annonced for PSVita or you just try to ignore them: Little deviants, gravity Daze,Smart As,Escape Plan,Sound Shape,Broken,Reality Fighter ETC.

Your english is really bad, don't understand your first two comments.

Gravity Daze, and Ape Escape and can all be easily done on PS3.

Even Smart as is do able on PS3 with 6-axis, but it's more suited for PSV. However the 3DS, and older DS games already do this, this isn't a new experience.

Sound Shape is unique too, but I barely consider it a game. It's not that different then Electroplankton for DS. Not sure what Broken is.

Reality Fighter is the only game of those you listed that I would consider unique, and it's not really unique to PSV. 3DS has 3D camera games too, just not one this cool.

Regardless, all of these games are niche products. These type of games already exist on the 3DS, and have existed on the DS, and have never proven to sell well before. These don't define the PSV as much as Uncharted or LBP do, and they make the PSV feel like a PS3 portable in the same was as PSP feels like a PS2 portable.

If PSP cut PS2 sales in Japan, doesn't it make sense that PSV cut PS3 sales? Especially since they are the same price?
