Well it never actually had a price cut in Japan, it just had more added to the base system. It went from the System with 1 controller to the System with 2 controllers and WSR. It's still the same 20,000 yen price though. After the price cut the PS3 is now down to 25,000 yen.

I was talking Europe/America with the price cut, but I suppose Wii has done somewhat well, that said it's had a slew of releases lately.
