Why is it so important that they have people well educated organizing the play times?

Do you really believe they would tell you any kind of non-public info? If so, you might be expecting a bit much.

Well its expected that the people presenting the products know about the products they are presenting. Infact Nintendo's booth was one of the only booths I visited where the people presenting weren't directly involved with the project. Infact other then AOE which had a guy who worked for MSGameStudios but not Robot, I can't think of another booth I visited where the presenter was not involved in the development of the product. Even Capcom and Square Enix had people from the localization teams to talk too. Though I never got to talk much with them. TreeHouse would have been perfect for PAX they handle the localization and would have known alot more about the products.

Am I expecting a bit much? First off I may not have a press pass however I do do writing. I also sign NDA's all the time and talk with developers at PAX every year. I do get told things from all kinds of developers that aren't availible to the general public or that are new news being reported at PAX and such.

About half the questions I asked were common knowledge. I didn't write all of them in the thread. But the employees should know the basics about the products they represent.

Now Sony's booth had the develop team on hand answering any question asked. I didn't once get a bad response. Infact I even talked about Vita and they told me it was shown behind closed doors and talked to me abit about it. I also met David Jaffe as said he was very nice. I got to talk to Insomniac and NaughtyDog and everyone else.

Microsoft's booth was overflowing with 343 staffers. Now sure they never answered any questions about Halo4 but questions about Anniversary and stuff were answered. They actually knew about the products.

No I'm not expecting Nintendo employees to leak all kinds of shit to me. I expect them to talk about the product and have some knowledge about it. The employee who had worked at Nintendo for a year was very informative, he told me everything about Super Mario 3D Land, he even answered questions I never thought he would. That WiiU thing was totally unexpected while unofficial it was an answer.

Fact is all the other booths had developers and staff who were very well educated about their products. I met developers from ProtoType2, BattleField3 , Counter Strike, Batman , Sonic Generations , Ghost Recon all of the Sony games, 343, FireFall , Prey2.

Nintendo was like the only booth with employees who did not know about their products. It would have been cool if someone from the TreeHouse Team was present. Or if someone higher up was present.

This isn't new, Nintendo's staff last year didn't know much about their products either. Well half of them didn't. The guy showing off DKC:R didn't know Rambi was in the game, infact he didn't know who Rambi was. I already heard he was in the game and asked about him, the guy was like "Who's Rambi". Honestly when your representing a product you need basic knowledge of that product.

Though last year I did meet some senior staff. Like Miyamoto's western assistant. She was very knowledgable. But this year their was nobody who worked for Nintendo more then a year at their booth.

Oh my, you seem to take all this too seriously. Those guys are there to ensure everyone gets a turn at playing the games, they are not there for some elitist gamer to behave haughty and complain they know too little.
