That happened to me when I first got my GameBoy Advance. Picked up Castlevania: Circle of the Moon from Best Buy (it was located in the gaming section in Best Buy, still shrink wrapped...), and when I opened it the car, there were two Taco Bell mild sauces in there instead of the game. 
Of course we went right back in and returned it. Still, very random. :P
