I think Wii U might be dead on arrival, now more than ever when NoA won't even release half of the 1st party games in the biggest market for them. |
That might mean they do things right properly next time, instead of just halfway. When they were screwing up with the GC, but not with the GBA, they made the Wii and DS, but then lost Wii momentum with Wii Music, and then lost the Wii Sports Resort and NSMB Wii goodwill with Other M and only a couple token Motion Plus games (Fling Smash and Wii Play Motion). This time they are screwing up with both the 3DS and Wii U, which means they have to double their efforts at the minimum to get back on top.
As for Capcom, f' them. I used to defend them, until they showed their true colors (refusing to even consider RE5 for the Wii, and then milking the customers on the systems they did release it on). Since then, they've only gotten worse.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
