I thought it would be interesting to list the best-selling Western games in Japan, in order to see what games sell best and how they fare against Japanese games. I added the numbers for PS3 and X360, so it's about the total sales a game gets. I included games with at least 100,000 copies sold. If I missed any game let me know.

I say it's not that bad, GTA IV sold about as much as the Yakuza games, for instance. We have to consider that the market for home console games is quite reduced in Japan these days, so I think they didn't do that bad. The 10th best-selling PS3 game in Japan sold 530,000, for instance.
