You are correct that most HD gamers believe gameplay is more important than graphics.  However, it is constantly the PS3/360 crowd that gets in "graphic wars" over certain games.  They love to compare this game to that game.  While most gamers try to avoid such arguments it doesn't help the HD crowd when almost half of their user base are in constant "graphic war" battles.  Basically, the entire HD crowd needs to stop giving others ammo before that false image fades.

lol what do you think is going to happen next year when the wii u launches? you really think nintendo gamers aren't going to join in or even become the most dominant console group in the "graphics wars".... heres a taste of whats to come with the launch of the wii u ( i'm reffering to the comments btw ) :

...the only reason nintendo gamers aren't engaging in these "graphics wars" right now is that the wii just isn't comparable to the other consoles in terms of graphics... but give them a nintendo console that is and they join in the arguments also

I have yet to udnerstand why a graphics war even exists considering that if people gave a shit so much about graphics they would just get barely decent PC.
