what the Wii U needs is a basic level of commitment from some Japanese companies. I'm talking RE Revelations level of exclusives at or near launch.

Honestly 3rd parties are to blame more than Nintendo. I don't necessarilly believe Nintendo should hand over large sums of money to 3rd parties, (like Sony and M$ used to do) just ti get support. The Wii-U has more than enough power (we saw what 5 weeks of work turned out to be on the Zelda demo) so 3rd parties need to act mature and put their games there. If the Wii can sell hardcore games Wii-U should be able to do that better.

I will still get Wii-U though regardless because of Nintendo made games.
