He basically states that it would be far to hard to find someone who could actually replace him right now.

That's what i've maintained. From a business perspective, Iwata is the best option, because we've seen all the good that the "suits" do for the industry, and any developer other than Iwata is going to have yet less business sense, due to a lack of experience
