Not only is it one of (if not THE) most populated region(s) in America but it's sitting on a fault line that is well overdue a large earthquake.

I shouldn't be criticising though. One of these days there's gonna be a huge earthquake here too, and I'm certainly not doing anything regarding relocation.

You are fairly close to a plate boundary, you should be alright though.
