I doubt it. First, it would have been plastered all over the news, like when Blockbuster and Target sided with Blu. Plus, there's no stories - 10 days later - stating this. Lastly, Wal-Mart was the first place to kick off the $99 HD DVD player deals. They are purple - they are in it for the benjamins.
