It happens on the second disc, a little after everyone gets rescued.  It's not a huge thing, it's a slow build that works through till near the end of the third disc.

Nay, I totally understand. I was refering to myself and how cold of a person I am most of the time. As for the game, I've "finished it" but since I was really young at the time (I think I was 7 or 8) I couldn't really understand it, so I can't appreciate the plot in a whole sense.
