Just anti PS3 BS ^ "In January, the average number of games owned by a PlayStation 3 owner was 2.7, while the average Wii owner had 2.2 games in his (or her) library. Only one month later, these numbers have jumped quite drastically to 3.4 and 3.6 respectively "

First of all, the attachment rate is the number of games purchased for every console purchased, right?
Well, if someone buys a PS3 for the blu ray, they will increase the denominator but not the numerator, thus lowering the attachment rate. I would imagine that a fair number of PS3 owners would be doing this, seeing as how expensive blu ray players are. Have you seen how expensive they are in the US? Why pay $1000 for one?
Secondly, the japanese software sales will prove my point. Look at how many more PS3's have been sold in japan, versus 360s but the 360 still sells more titles! Also, if you really wanted to prove a point with statistics, you should try to include the attachment rates of the other consoles as well.
