I don't think he was complaining about the "stances" themselves but rather you can't hit enemies unless you're in a certain stance in Heavenly Sword.  In Devil May Cry there were no enemies where you had to be in gunslinger style to hit them, or trickster to hit them, the styles in Devil May Cry 3/4 just let you change your combos.  This is very different, and to be frank having to change stances to hit an enemy in Heavenly Sword really ruined the game.

Well that's what I was talking about; a stance system doesn't work in a game unless it just opens up options instead of doing "do x move against y enemy in order to beat them." That, like you said, just becomes irritating and boring, reducing combat to a tired tedium. NT, despite ALL the complaints lobbed at Heavenly Sword, obviously have not learned from their mistakes, probably because they're too much of egomaniacs to learn from such things. And Antoniades' claims that 30 FPS is somehow BETTER than DMC 60 fps standard just shows how much of a moron he is

It is nice to see that there are a lot of people thinking alike :) .   And yes they are egomaniacs.....just see how the "new dante" resembles Tateem Antoniades  ¬_¬.

1. Link???

2. Rewind a minute. your saying that you agree with there points. which is about how you cant attack an enemy without a particular stance. i see to remember a certain game called God of War 3 where a lot of enemies cannot be hurt without the use of the Cestus weapon. so i dont understand your saying Heavenly Sword is no good because it forces you to change your weapon/stance when you encounter an enemy that blocks it. does that mean God of War 3 is also trash because it uses the same formula. it dosent make sense, how can different standards exist for 2 games? how can God of War 3 be a 10/10 game for you, yet apply the same formula as Heavenly Sword?

3. why is it DMC fans (fake DMC fans that is) - i dont consider people who like DMC2, 3 or 4 real DMC fans unless they respect the orignal game, from where the series came. (DMC1 is the true DMC game) so why are DMC fans quote things like framerate, yet dont understand what framerate actully is (a few posts back someone thought framerate means speed, i had to explain it has nothing to do with speed).

4. why are so called DMC fans saying things about Ninja Theory without backing them up???
