This is why the Xbox and GC managed to have 3rd party games that were exclusive at all. Some h/w makers did buy some people off in the process, but it atleast got a few exclusives. Also, for the whole poor J-sales for the 360: Although the 360 has failed in Japan, it really didn't have anything to live upto. Any developer in Japan knows this. Despite it, however, some J-devs have had great succuess on the 360. Capcom is the major example. Dead Rising and Lost Planet are both million sellers rather easily, and are still selling units each week (albiet not much). Studios like Mistwaker, Namco, and Square Enix need to realize & wake up that the West still wants eastern games, and the 360 is the better console (vs the PS3) to develop for.
