Avinash, I'm not sure wheter the Wii can sell as much more than people say, but why make a game for Wii? It isn't that much better.

Call of Duty was multiplat between Ps3 and X360. It has sold 4.8M now. It would never have sold that on Wii alone.

Assassin's creed has sold 4,5 or something. In same amount of time as Super Mario Galaxy. Are you saying that it could have done that on Wii?

Guitar Hero III sold 50% more on 360 (albeit, 50 % less on Ps3)

The only 3rd party to sell more than 1,34M is MARIO and Sonic at the olympic games. I would say that Mario made half of these sales at least.

Re4, which was the best game of 2004 (or something, I really have no Idea about original release) sold 1,34M on Wii, I wouldn't say it is bad, it is good, but not great.

RRR, sold 1,22M. That is good for a Rayman game.

Red Steel sold 1,03M. Remember, it came out in a time with very few good Wii games. If it was released today, it wouldn't have sold that much.
