That is probably the biggest issue with the series. I'm curious as to how DMC 3 managed to be so good despite it. Though the original DMC was good 3 had more than enough content and variety to supplant it for me. Even more so if you include DMC3SE.

I wish I had the faith in Ninja Theory you have...To me it looks like a much slower paced version of DMC3 that requires less skill. It seems like they took too much inspiration from the half rate DMC clone GOW.  I don't wanna lose my tough as nails arcade action because they have a penchant for cinematics and such.

I hope its early and that my reaction is a knee jerk thing but playing a bit of Heavanly Sword I don't have faith that Ninja Theory really know how to do balls to the wall arcade action.  There had better be a Style meter too.  It adds so much to the game to force you constantly vary your offense.  It's omission I feel would be a detriment to the values of the series.

It IS slower paced, those assclowns fully admitted it was running at 30 FPS; kiss any chances of the combat being as deep, as fast, or as responsive as 3 or 4 good bye. And let's not forget NT's habits of throwing tantrums, blaming other people for their commercial failures, and even just outright insulting fans because their Steven Seagal egos are as fragile as glass. NT is the insecure, hipster douchebag of the games industry and we'll be better off when they finally tank and vanish.
