Much like the Gamecube/XBox in the last generation developers should take risks and produce games which take advantage of the PS3 but they won't. As the game library becomes smaller and more genericm (because of the quantity of ports) it will be dramatically easier to build a game which stands out on the PS3; this should lead to (reasonably) high sales and the generation of a franchise. Publishers will not produce these games (for the most part) because the Risk is far too high for the potential ROI based on most calculations that a publisher will make.
