Electronic Gaming Monthly! HA! I remember that.

As a kid I would get Nintendo Power and random shelf magazines. Nintendo Power was really good because they gave great walk through for their games, especially simpler handheld games. I remember Oracle of Ages and Seasons had a great walk through, and over world map, which helped you though out almost the entire game.

After Internet started to grow I used IGN and GameFAQs. GameFAQs for help, IGN for news. I also got into gametrailers when I got broadband, but that was only this get. About 5 years ago IGN switched to some weird new website, so now I only go their for reviews now.

Now I don't use walk-throughs, I still look up GameFAQs to make a strong party in Fire Emblem or look up stats for RPG's, but for most games I Google things I'm looking for (like where to get HM's in Pokemon Black/White). I do look up achievements and trophies at www.xbox360achievements.org and www.ps3trophies.org, but mainly to get miss able achievements. I'm a gamerscore wh**e, but really I just like to max out, or get high scores in my favorite games.

As for news, now I mainly stream E3, TGS, Gamescon, etc Press conferences off Gametrailers. I look at VGC news, but not too often. I still use IGN too, but mainly for reviews.
