What I would do is send a team to Square, offer to cover the additional resources til the project is done. This would ensure the title remains exclusive, Sony can patch up the damaged bridge between the two (something that should have happened a long time ago). Both companies stay face with the gamers because we get the game we want and Square finally finishes a project that people actually give a damn about. |
Yeah, the PS3 kind of already has that. FFvXIII has gotten to a point where it's simply too late for Sony to do anything. In fact, I think most people won't care if the game gets ported to the 360 and the WiiU. I think Sony should just give SE the middle finger and go to whatever they're doing. SE currently has internal problems that are none of Sony's business.
