Personally, I'm actually glad EA doesn't do that, because imo peripherials are normally gimmicky or used for one game.
Yes they make crap games but so does nintendo, and almost everybody.
Financially... yes, maybe they should jump on the bandwagon. But, I don't particularly care if they make money if they don't make good games. Which IMO dead space is my favorite new IP. And Mass Effect Yes it's bioware but EA owns them, thus, EA are not completely talentless hacks.
