My observances:
(1) Inclusion of "flash memory" AND "internal memory". This seems to imply that we will be able to insert SD cards directly into the controller itself. If that's the case, then the controller could indeed serve as a standalone gaming machine sometimes. Interesting.
(2) Inclusion of a magnetic sensor. Similar devices that include magnetic sensors are basically all smartphones. They're the part that's used to allow you to have a digital compass or a metal detector app. Inclusion of one of those while also including a gyroscope AND accelerometers leads me to believe that Nintendo intends for the WiiU controller to have the most versatile and accurate motion control as-of-yet possible.
