Hey, do you have a source that specifies it's just in the launch window? I mean, that makes perfect sense, but I'd like to see an actual source because I only remember it being "not selling them separately", period. It'd be awesome if it's just the launch window.
Personally, my theory is twofold - (1) their 3DS launch bit 'em in the butt and they want to play it safer and less cocky this time around, and (2) they want it to be clear that WiiU is a whole new system and that these tablets WILL NOT WORK with a Wii, so wait until the general uneducated public knows what the WiiU is, THEN release the tablet.
THAT hurdle could have been avoided, though, with a different name...
