So, end result is no here.  By the way, Nintendo DID let their IP go on another platform in the past.  Mario and Link ended up on another platform.  And I don't mean the PC game title either, although that is one.  I mean another one.   And those who know what that is, can know why I say what I am saying now.

What other console?

I am not going to say.  Let's just say the Link (Zelda) title in particular is so legendarily bad, that people who know of it, intentionally forget that it exists, and pretend it never came out.

Was it a Sega console? Atari?

Google for it.  Check my last post on this, for a hit on what to google.  Trust me on it, once you see it, you wish you hadn't.  And I am not referring to Atari and Coleco getting Nintendo stuff (the Atari 8 bit computer versions of Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. are good).

Making him put some effort instead of just telling him!!!  I'll spill the beans..  It was the CD-i and the Nintendo games (Zelda, Mario) that were published on it were pure shit.  The Angry Video Game Nerd did a few episodes on these games.  It was pretty fun to see him play and talk shit about them.

You do realize by posting that you are traumatizing those who trying to forget that segment in the history of Nintend, don't you?

Ahh good old CD-I, back when companies thought multimedia was a killer app on its own.

If that shit ever happens again, I don't know what I'll do, possibly burn down some buildings?
