I'm going to search for the orignal source, but from what you stated kitler I think whoever wrote it is a dumbass... The facts seem to be;

Wii reached 200k in November.
PS3 reached 175k at the end of the year.

perhaps they just thought "screw the holiday sales for Wii, surely it sold nothing at all since November" Edit: ok all I can find without going into it too much is this: www.ps3center.net/story-1567-ps3-Set-To-Overtake-Wii-and-Xbox-360-in-Australia.html which I assume is where Kitler got it from as it has the same wording. The numbers and facts posted agree perfectly with VGC, yet the writer somehow dismisses the date difference between the numbers [that being 2 months of holiday sales included for PS3 but not Wii] Perhaps he is referring to the difference in launch dates [though nothing if the sort is mentioned] in that Wii made it to 200k in 11 months wheras PS3, if he is correct that PS3 gets to 200k in Feb then that would also be 11 months? still not making sense because both took the same time to reach 200k [though PS3 had launch hype+Christmas as help, wheras Wii had a Christmas launch]
