Yeah saldy in consumer TV market, DLP is done...
Its a damn shame too cause I think they perfected it at the end of the lifecycle. That Samsung LED I bought on the end of 2008 should last 60,000 hours without any loss of brightness and PQ. No rainbows cause of no color wheel, no bulbs, 3D capable, 67 inch screen for under 2000 bucks in 2008... If Samsung didn't bail on the tech, Texas Instruments would have had this "dualview" full screen split screen tech ready for all DLP based TVs years ago. (using 2 consoles obviously and the wonderful checkerbaord method).
Good news is that in projector market DLP are slaughtering everyone.
